The agency worked with Orange County, California-based non-profit Speech and Language Development Center from 2007 to 2011 to provide communications and brand strategy support. A pivotal part of our contribution was to purvey attitudes among the SLDC community (parents, teachers, investors, media, competitors, Regional Center directors) about the merits of the brand and Center’s initiatives to help kids overcoming severe language and learning issues. The effort included analyzing the effectiveness of the organization’s popular annual “Coaster Run” held in conjunction with Knott’s Berry Farm to drive donations.
The agency conducted a series of comprehensive focus groups and individual interviews with these constituents to obtain a 360-degree analysis of the organization’s programs in order to better match marketing messages and selling points to drive Capital Campaign fundraising. The program was also highly effective in helping SLDC to build a more cohesive presence within the local community and the overall speech/language and Autism treatment sphere.
